DRAW REQUESTS MADE EASY:
YOUR GUIDE TO REIMBURSEMENT
At CV3, we are excited to assist you in making the draw request process as smooth and straightforward as possible. We operate as a reimbursement program, meaning you will be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses once the work is completed and paid for. Below is everything you need to successfully submit your draw requests for reimbursement of your construction project expenses.
How to Request a Draw:
When you are ready to submit your first draw in TrustPoint, please gather the following documentation to ensure you have a streamlined review and approval process:
- Wire Instructions: Complete and return so we know where to send reimbursement funds.
- Proofs of Payment: Submit one of the following forms: bank statements, point of sale receipts, cancelled checks, or lien waivers.
- Lien Waiver: Provide to vendor, or other 3rd party who has worked on the property, to fulfill and execute the lien waiver.
- Plans and/or Permits: Submit as noted at the bottom of your fully executed Feasibility Report.
Timing and Inspection:
Once your draw request has been submitted, processing and site inspection are the next steps.
- After submission, we’ll review your documents and schedule a site inspection. Keep an eye out for calls from our third-party affiliate regarding inspection coordination.
- If there’s a specific milestone you’d like to achieve prior to inspection (e.g., the roof is being completed in two days), let the inspector know.
- Once the inspection report is received, we’ll process the draw and notify you if there are any questions.
- Draw requests are typically processed within 5 business days once a complete and accurate submission is received. For example, if you submit a draw request on Monday and all documentation is in order, we aim to process it by Friday. We are starting to see improvements in our overall turn times as we continue to transition to the automated workflow. We look forward to providing a more streamlined experience as we move forward into the TrustPoint workflow.
